The LLM (Master of Laws) is a graduate degree in law for individuals who have already received a first degree in law. The LLM program is usually designed for individuals who want to either expand their knowledge, study a specialized area of law, or sometimes, gain international qualifications. This post will highlight 3 universities in the UK with full tuition scholarship opportunities for foreign students interested in pursuing a LLM for the 2021/2022 academic year.
1. City University of London
The City Law School is firmly committed to a generous programme of scholarships awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The Dean's Scholarship - a full-fee scholarship - is offered to the most outstanding candidates across all postgraduate and professional programmes in The City Law School.

2. SOAS University of London
The Alphawood Foundation has generously provided Paul Webley Alphawood Scholarships for post-graduate students undertaking either the full-time taught masters programmes MA Human Rights Law, LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice and LLM in Law and Gender. LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice candidates must demonstrate how they will specialise in the promotion and protection of the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender person under the law. The Paul Webley Alphawood Scholarship will cover tuition fees.
Deadline: 16th April, 2021.
3. University of Liverpool
The Hodgson Law Scholarship, which has been made possible through the generous benefaction of Elizabeth Hodgson, widow of the Liverpool Solicitor Joseph Hodgson, who expressed a wish to advance the education and training of lawyers who might work for the benefit of Merseyside. The Scholarship is available to all prospective overseas candidates (i.e. non UK, non EU) intending to pursue a postgraduate taught degree in law at the University of Liverpool. The Scholarship includes full tuition fees for a full-time postgraduate taught degree in law (LLM), and a stipend of £9,135.

If you have answered yes to all these questions, you are eligible to be an intern in the Legal Vice Presidency. The World Bank Legal Vice Presidency offers highly-motivated law students an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the World Bank and that of the Legal Vice Presidency. The World Bank Legal Internship Program allows individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas, and latest research experiences into the World Bank’s daily operations and improve their legal skills while working in a multicultural environment. Preference shall be given to candidates who possess a decent command of a second language, especially if that is one of the working languages of IBRD (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
