Over the past year, we've posted at least 50 full tuition scholarship opportunities on this website for the 2021 academic year and have also shared interviews we've had with some of the scholarship recipients. This post would be the final round of scholarships for the 2021 academic year!
1. International Development: Full Fees Scholarship
The School of International Development at University of East Anglia is pleased to offer competitive scholarships equal to full EU or International fees to students taking any of their full-time Master's courses. This Scholarship award covers full-time EU/International tuition fees and is eligible for graduates of an international institution who hold at least a degree classification of 2:1 ( or international equivalent).
2. Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships
Aimed at students who are committed to creating change in their communities, the scholarships are a life-changing opportunity to experience a new country and culture, to broaden horizons, and to build a global network that will last a lifetime. The scholarships offer a unique opportunity to study a two-year Master’s degree in a low or middle-income Commonwealth country. Award recipients receive:
Fully-funded tuition fees
Living expenses allowance (stipend) for duration of award
Return economy flights to their host country
An arrival allowance
Research support grant – on request only; subject to approval
3. The DPU Health in Urban Development Scholarship
The purpose of the DPU Health in Urban Development Scholarship is to support candidates of the highest calibre for postgraduate study at the Health in Urban Development MSc programme, in the expectation that as graduates, these scholars will make important contributions to urban health by drawing on the strengths of the international perspective and leading position of the DPU in the development field. The scholarship is available to cover the full overseas tuition fee for the academic year 2021/2022 for the programme MSc Health in Urban Development.
4. The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program
The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is open to citizens of certain developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic. Subject to available funding, JJWBGSP offers scholarships for 48 Participating Programs at universities in U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania and Japan in key areas of development, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management. The JJ/WBGSP scholarship provides the recipient with the following benefits:
Economy class air travel between your home country and the host university at the start of your study program and immediately following the end of the scholarship period. In addition to the two-way air travel, scholars will receive a US $500 travel allowance for each trip;
Tuition for your graduate program and the cost of basic medical insurance obtained through the university.
While on campus during the scholarship period, a monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses (accommodations, food, etc., including books). The amount of the allowance varies depending on the host country.
5. The University of Sheffield Africa Scholarship 2021
In partnership with the University of Sheffield Africa Scholarship Trust, the Department of Geography is pleased to offer a scholarship for a postgraduate taught student from Africa. The scholarship offers the following support:
A full tuition fee waiver
Maintenance for University accommodation and a monthly stipend
